For want of music, the vibes were lost
Time: around 3am.
Date: Saturday, 22 September.
My TV is on.
Station: Silverbird.
Programme: Music Africa.
Music Video: Kween, Come wit me (that’s how Music Africa labeled it, don’t look at me like that)
Enough stats, time for facts. Ok, so? Well, I only saw the concluding scene of the video, the rest, I was asleep. The song filtered into my dreams and interrupted my peaceful … not that I am complaining. I love the song. I woke up and said, “now that’s good music”. Then I went back to sleep.
As much as I would have loved to remain in my state of hibernation, I could not. Yours truly had to keep an eye on the “content” coming through my 21 inch piece of 90’s technology. Anyways, I kept on watching. Watching. More watching. I narrowly won a battle against my eyelids, whom believed that they were destined to be closed at that moment.
Its surprising, how much good and bad can come from the same source. I am referring to the video by TN (whoever she is) titled “Boogie”. No beef, but I just don’t feel the girl. She sounds like a primary school girl, with that thin voice (sounding forced).

A good question, asked by GT the Guitarman.
When am I gonna be what I wanna be?
When am I gonna see what I wanna see?
Its like dreams don’t come true in this part of this world.
