Any one who has visited my site recently would notice the multitude of widgets I installed all in a desperate bid to gain traffic. I thought they would have a magical touch to bring a flood of traffic to my humble blog, alas I was wrong. With my head down and my hands raised high, I humbly submit to the “god” of the Internet. I realise I can not do it own my own, I am now “net born again”.

Trying to increase traffic is always a nightmare. I suppose that’s why I often don’t bother. Though I did recently add BlogRush to my blog (which is how I found yours, incidentally).

I always like playing around with those widgets, but in order to have visitors, that come back and read what you have to say, the best way to get traffic like that is to visit other blogs and leave relevant comments. You might also care to try the forum I and some other bloggers began recently for the sole purpose of getting people to read our blogs on a regular basis.
