A Pathetic attempt @ Blog Monetization
I use Google Alerts a lot. It helps me keep track of certain items. For example, I use it to keep track new releases of wordpress themes and plugins. (Also, since I am addicted to email, its ensures I receive tons of emails everyday)
My alert feed for today on “wordpress plugin” included the following:
I decided to follow the link titled “New theme with a weird name”. The article referenced the release of the Cushy theme by WooThemes, which I had got information about instantly on Twitter anyway from Adii and Wootheme.
I understand that the owner of the site is desperate to make money online from his blog, but this is overkill. It is difficult to get any reading done without a clicksor advert popping up in your face.
I even tried dropping a comment, unfortunately, Clicksor just wouldnt allow me. Am not surprised he only has 2 subscribers. Seriously, is he even making money at all?
