The Death of Mobile Signature?
This is one of the painful posts I have had to write in my life, but it is a post that must be written.
In 2004, I started utilising the services of the company to host some of my clients websites. The service was ok. Then it started degrading. As a believer in giving people opportunities, I persisted. After all, this was a young man trying to make a living in this difficult country.
But, it seems Mobile Signature could not manage its success. They expanded. Moved to bigger offices. Employed more personnel. But their service did not improve. Support calls not being answered. Services paid for not activated. Customer care officers just being rude.
Now all contact numbers are switched off. Emails delivered, not replied. Now, am on a man hunt for members of staff of Mobile Signature Ltd. Not to cause them harm, but to find a way of retrieving my domains which are locked in with them. I have lost a number of customers because of their poor lack of service.
Update: removed the name of one of the founding members of the company because he requested I remove it.
Ok they have been given poor service but u dont need to go this far to make it an internet publications which is my personal opinion. Especially mentioning {name removed} when he is not even the owner of the company.
The owners did a bad job. Simple.

I agree with you (the “owners did a bad job” part). When some banks in the country did poorly, CBN came out and exposed it, with the aim of protecting the consumers. Also, if any customer has received poor service from any organisation, he/she has the right to express his/her opinions. Which is what I have just done.
If a company can not service a client, you allow them move their service requests to other organisations, but Mobile Signature does not do that. It took Mobile Signature seven months to approve a domain transfer from their service to another service. This warranted me bearing the cost of the customer’s subscription for a whole year.
I have also had to let one of my customers go (I company I started with when it was still just one man) because Mobile Signature could not provide good services.
As regards {name removed}. Agreed, he may not own the company, but he was (and is) one the masterminds behind the company. He was the only person who could give me answers to the questions I asked. He was the person who did his best to placate me when I was aggravated.
Have you tried the customer service of Mobile Signature lately? Please do and come back to comment here. I will love to hear about your “experience”.
Also, one quick question. How did you get to this post?

@Adepoju, am guessing you are the person whom the above said person says you are a customer with over 25 domains with them. Could you email me a list of the domains so we can check if the said domains are still available?
